What is your favorite book-to-screen adaptation?

I absolutly adore the City of Bone movie adaption, I can’t really say that I enjoyed it more or less than the TV show because I do like both (unpopular opinion). Though I really enjoyed the actors for this movie and I felt like we were robbed of the sequel which I really wanted to see.

What is your most hated book-to-screen adaptation?

I wouldn’t say that I hated this adaption because I couldn’t really think of one that I really hated, but as a movie on it’s own it’s not the worse movie I have ever seen. I think I feel this way because I watched it before I even knew it was a book, so I don’y hate it as much as others.

Create a quick playlist for your favorite book.

I ended up going with ACOMAF for my playlist because it was an easy and quick one to do, and I loved the book.

A book you pretend you’ve read?

I’ve personally never done this so I can’t answer this really but I might use this question because curious to see if other people have.

Who’s your favorite superhero and why?

Sadly this is another question that I can’t really answer because I’m not too familiar with the superhero world to make a informed decision, but what is your’s?

Recommend me a new book boyfriend. What makes him swoon worthy?

I have to go with Edan from Spin the Dawn, he’s one of my newest book boyfriends, I just loved him so much. He’s such an amazing character, unlike most characters that try to fight to falling in love expecially when it’s come to something that complicates the situation. Edan was different in this regard, he had little ressitance to falling in love with the main character Maia, and though there was some initial resistance in the very beginning it didn’t last long though. He was also willing to give up things that he worked for such a long time on and was willing to do whatever it takes to be with Maia and protect her the best he could, and I just continue to fall in love with him.

A criminally underrated book or series?

I wouldn’t say that this is a completely underrated book but it’s one that I don’t think that has the hype it deserves, it’s bit of a slow read, and it does have a bit of a heavy political plot, which is not normally my thing, but in These Rebel Waves it really works.

If you could interview one character who would be and why?

This one was very hard for me because there are so many great characters I could have gone with, but I decided to go with a character that I wish I could have more of, and that would be Shazi from The Wrath & the Dawn.

What is your go to fluff-book?

Honetly I’m not really a fluff book reader so this is a bit of a mid way between what I normally read and a fluff book, Geekerella is all about fandom culture, and I’m here for it, I’m really here for this and I’m in need for a reread.

What are your favorite reading snacks?

I don’t really eat while I’m reading but if I do I usually have Goldfish and a cup of tea.

It’s time to assemble your bookish squad? Which characters make the cut?

  1. A book you pretend you’ve read?

  1. Thank you for answering my questions, Trisha! ❤ I loved reading your answers! I'm so glad you loved City of Bones too because I agree – we were robbed of the sequel! I feel like the pacing was a bit off but the cast was STELLA! I could never get behind Shadowhunters.

    1. There were too many scenes, mainly one in particular that I really wanted to see. I really enjoyed the actors, they captured the characters personalities so well.
I don’t think I’m as judgmental of the TV show as others are, I have only watched the first season, I’ve been considering giving it a chance because I don’t remember much about it.

      1. I haven’t been able to get past the third episode of season one to be honest. I don’t mind Dominic Sherwood as Jace – I actually think he surpasses Jamie Campbell Bower – but there’s just something about it that doesn’t click with me. I’ll probably give it another go but we’ll see.
