Recommendations: Favorite Female Authors

Favorite Female Authors

I’m very picky when I’m choosing who to include in my Favorite Female Authors, I had to have either have read or enjoyed more than one of theirs book, and in some cases have read more than one of their series. To many my rules might not make sense, but they makes sense to me and that’s all that matters.

Sarah J Maas

Sarah J. Maas is probably one of my all time favorite authors, I just love her writing and the worlds she creates, her A Court of Thornes and Roses series is one if not my favorite series of time. I’m currently a little behind on her books, I have yet to continue her Throne of Glass series but I’m planning on rereading them and then hopefully finally finishing the series.

Throne of Glass

Cassandra Clare

Cassandra Clare is one of the authors that got me into reading, The Mortal Instruments series is one of the first series that I read in an entiretly after The Percy Jackson series. I haven’t read her latest book Lord of Shadows yet because originally the third and final book in the series wasn’t suppost to come out for another two years, but since it’s now going to come out in December of this year I’m going to reread the series and finally catch up.

The Mortal Instuments

The Infernal Devices

The Dark Artifices

Roshani Chokshi

Roshani Chokshi is a new author for me, I read both of the first books in both series earlier this year and I really enjoyed both of them, and I’m currently reading the sequel to The Star-Touched Queen duology and I’m sure I’m going to love it as well.

The Star-Touched Queen

The Pandava Quartet

Aru Shah and the End of Time

Kristen Proby

Kristen Proby is an author that hold a special place to me, she’s an author that I got my mom to read and her books are something that we bonded over, books are something that we don’t really get to bond over so that’s why this series is special.

With Me in Seattle

Boudreaux Series

Fushion

Emma Chase

This is one of the first books in the romance genre, her books are enjoyable and always funny, so they never fail to make me laugh. I didn’t really enjoy her Tangled series, but all of her other books are lovely and I’m definantly planning on reading more of her books as soon as they come out, her new book Getting Schooled are the only one I haven’t read but I’m hopefully going to read it sometime soon.

The Legal Briefs

Tangled

Royally

Abbi Glines

I’ve enjoyed most of Abbi Gline’s books, her Sea Breeze series is the first series in the New Adult Romance genre that I read, unfortunately some of her newer books I haven’t enjoyed as much but I’m still planning on reading more of her books in the future.
